WOW...............Didn't want to cause trouble, not all gooseneck trailers are set up like the one in this pic that was posted. I must say I've never seen a goosneck trailer set up like that, mostly all I have seen are set up very similar to a fifth wheel. I do know the difference, just thought I could help.

most trailers you can change them back and forth with just buying a few parts

Trailer is about 2200 lbs... And there will be about 3k lbs of 4-wheelers and gear on it. I have a digital draw tite brake controler in my truck now witch i like but always looking for something better.

Have a 07 screw with the short box. Has a B&W hitch for pulling our goose neck horse trailer. No problems at all. Just watch the tight turns. Daughter has a 04 screw, short box, same setup. No problems either other than she did turn a little too tight once. Didn't get the window though. Trailer fully loaded is 8200#.

That litle weight seems like it should be an easy tow for your truck.

I have a Prodigy brake control in my truck and its always worked well for my towing needs.
