2003 4.2 performance chip

While I have had two 4.2 Fords..one a 97,and now my 07,and Love the bugger,it is not a powerhouse.Ive loaded down the 97 with more than it was ever supposed to take, and never missed a beat.
Adding a performance chip most probably wont make a huge difference, and likely decrease the mileage, and reliability.
These engines are "taxed" enough in a full size truck, and when you put an automatic behind it(as my 07 is) its doing all it can do to maintain interstate speeds.
I suggest that if you want more spunk, you look into a swap to the 4.6 or bigger v-8.
I know this probably isnt what youre looking to hear, but in my opinion its a waste of money, and will likely make your ride less reliable in the long run.
