But remember mine is a late 51 so the clasp arrangement is a little different.
Also, just food for thought, the hinge pin bolts share function with the tail light brackets.
On some trucks, the brackets are mounted directly onto the hinge pin bolts. On some trucks the tail light brackets are mounted on ehole up and on some one hole down (meaning there are three holes going through the stake pocket. So, note in my pictures that I have 3 holes and that th eupper one gets a rubber plug in case I mount a different tail light bracket. As of now my brackets are using th etwo hinge pin bolts directly.
Here's a few pictures of my 51. I'm using 53+ blue dot tail lights and the longer 53+ brackets.
