Ford F-150 a/c compressor switch
I have a 2000 Ford F-150, the a/c works but only for a minute. When I start the truck the a/c compressor switch comes on but turns off almost immediately. I know that it isn't the low pressure switch, that's already been checked. Does anyone know anything about this, or what it might be?

well it could be the a/c relay, pressure switch, or temperature switch. If you jump the pressure switch and it runs, then you are low on pressure or have a bad switch. or jump the temperature switch. something in the circuitry is not allowing the relay to stay running and there is only probably 3 things it could be. the fact that it does come on and run verifies that the relay does indeed work, but could still be failing. Check your pressures. you can jump the relay to make sure the compressor builds pressure.
