Thumbs up edge racing w/dpf&cat delete

Well i just thought i would give everyone an update, i've been running the edge racing tuner (140 hp) and delete pipes. the tuner is working out great even though it doesn't tune tranny it is still smooth shifting rides great and will all out fly! it smokes a little between 40 and 80 mph with it to the floor and when u rev it up in park it will puff smoke but it sounds great i'm really please and its a great deal for the price.

The Edge Evo is a great economical DPF delete option. They are far and away our top seller for the 6.4L.

so you have the edge and a dpf cat delete pipe. What are you using to control the computer to think the dpf is still on?

the new edge racing tuner has the option to run all tunes with or without the dpf. it is recommended that you not run the tunes with the dpf on due to aggressive fueling strategies to create the horspower gains. which means that they are covering there butts because its illegal to delete cat and dpf by allowing it to run with dpf but its not designed to and i imagine that it will plug the dpf up running with it tuned like that.

yeah if i drive it normal i get about 19mpg's but i been having trouble keeping my foot out of it still gettin about 16. with 35's on it. i imagine if i continued to drive it normal instead of racing people and playin around it would continue to get a little better but thats prob not gonna happen.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm still in the "looking" phase with these trucks, so I was curious how it would do with the DPF delete. I'd be happy with 19, so that's good news for me. I'm just trying to avoid the 10-12 mpg in stock trim some have stated.

well the other tuners like the edge evolution will tune the truck with the dpf. but your never gonna see the mileage increase with the dpf still on the truck. if your looking to do it spartan is probably the best dpf delete tuner ( i had it it just wasn't for me).

My mileage is between 17 and 20 depending on how I drive. Edge has done an excellent job with these, I am very impressed.

Pardon my ignorance, but is that with or without the DPF on it?
