Looks good Jim! What was the size of the spline on your Volare box?

5/8" diameter. I believe 36 splines.

Uh Huh. Chuck and Sam telling me my engine bay looks good is about like Cindy Crawford telling Janet Reno how H-O-T she looks in that mini skirt...

Looks good...How did you settle on the 79 column? I am just mocking up motor mounts on my Volare and need to start looking for a column.

Hey, just cause its not like mine doesn't mean its not beautiful too.. Some folks like the NO wires or tubes showing look, and go to extremes to make it so.. to them my engine bay, altho shiny and 'clean', is a jumble of uck..

On the other hand, I like clean, shiny, over stock, or daily driver look.
I also like to recognize people for the work they do, even if its not MY taste..

My son would drool over the rust colored stuff.. he is a ratrod freak, and the natural rusted patina look is what he is after.. anything shiny, clean, or new looking gets tossed aside.
