Question Kinda odd..

Does anyone have any idea why my idle fluctuates between 600 and 800 rpms. It does this like a rhythm in a song every three seconds or so.
Thanks
Jay

Thanks for the response. Where is this located? How hard of a fix is it? And will this cause a problem if not address right away?
Thanks
Jay

It is going to be on the side of the throttle body and it should be pretty easy to change. No, it won't, it is just annoying but will eventually get bad enough that you will go ahead and take care of it.

Thanks Bro,
Where would be a good place to pick up one of these other than the stealership?
Thanks
Jay

Do you have your A/C or defroster on?

Could be the A/C clutch cycling......

I tried it both ways with same results. Just keeps going like a perfect rhythm. Over and over.
Thanks

There a a couple of FTE sponsors that are dealers that offer discounts on parts. FTEPartsGuy is one of them. You haven't said what model year truck/engine combination you have. For my truck this drill down shows $37.02 for this sensor.
