1946 Ford/Marmon-Herrington designation

Somebody knows, how were designated 1946 Ford trucks all-wheel-drive conversion of Marmon-Herrington? I know, that of 1945 Ford truck conversions were designated as Marmon-Herrington CMM Series, 1947 - as CM Series.

welcome to the club. nice to see more mh,s coming out of the woodwork. you don't give enough info on what you're looking for. how big or small a truck? a very good source of mh info is- chucks trucks in conneticut. very knowledgable on all aspects of mh! if you have one, set up your gallery, put in some pics. love to see em!

I'll add my welcome. Glad to have another M-H owner join us. I see you are in Russia. Was your truck a military vehicle or a post war civilian export? The M-H model number would have been stamped on a plate mounted over the windscreen. I know that they are sometimes missing, though. We'd love to see pictures when you can. Stu

I am interested in history of Marmon-Herrington Сompany. I have an information about 1935-1963 trucks, but only do not know a designation of 1,5-ton 1946 Ford conversion.
I know two cases of delivery of Marmon-Herrington trucks in the USSR:
1. In 1938 the USSR has received Marmon-Herrington С30-6 6-8 ton Dump Truck (6х6).
1. In 1942 the USSR has received 500 Marmon-Herrington HH6COE-4 trucks of 1940 modelling years Red Army.

To my understanding the 1.5 ton Ford Marmon-Herrington model numbers varied depending upon the truck's wheel base and cab type, that is whether a COE (cab over engine) or standard cab. I've been through my resources looking for 1946 model numbers and have had no luck. Here are two web sites that might be of help. One is the Military Vehicle Preservation Association and the other is the Marmon-Herrington Yahoo Group. The Yahoo group to my understanding has interest in military vehicles.
