what's wrong with tire makers
Can anyone tell my why a 35x12.50 R 20 is an average of 150 dollars more per tire than a 35x12.50 R15 seems like I have to pay more for less material. Is it not enough that I already paid over a thousand dollars for my wheels. That now I have to pay more for tires. Just venting.

Supply and demand, for the time being anyway. 20" tires haven't been around that long on many vehicles. 15" have been around a lot longer, and there are/were far more trucks using them. That tide will swing your way eventually as the bigger rims become more standard. But for now you are among the lucky ones that get to pay top dollar for them.

Your gunna spend 14 grand on tires.......??? what are those made out of....and what kinda warranty???
Keep in mind theres less rubber, but a low profile tire....(lower than a 15 inch rim anyhow) has a harder time supporting the weight.....so the tire costs more to make...
That...and they just know you'll pay it....

feel your pain on the price. even going with cheapy tires, I've gonna spend at least $1,200 for the 18" rims I have.
so I'm of half a mind to just buy the good tires and pay the extra $200 or so.
but I may be deployed this fall...so the truck might be sitting parked for 5 months

Tylus hides underneath the water real quiet like... Are you in the sandbox, (more like dirtbox) or the stan? I spent a couple of tours in the sandbox myself.
