04 f250 trans 2nd gear shifting late

Hey world, need some help, got a 04 f250 with 50k road miles, 5.4 4x4, all of a sudden second gear is shift way late, it will shift from 1st to 2nd if I back off of the acc, took it to a trans shop, they plugged in and there are no codes, and all of the sensors are reading ok. fluid looks and smells ok.
Were on an 04 f250 is the trans ECM? All the other shifts are ok and converter lockup is ok, and down shifting is ok, just late shift from 1st to 2nd?

Thanks for any and all help

Did someone possibly re-program the tranny with a tuner before you got it? I assume though when you say "all of a sudden" that it wasn't doing it before and just started?

The engine and trans share the PCM. It's located behind the parking brake pedal.

Just for giggles try unplugging the solenoid pack and plugging it back in. If you have a 4r100 which I think you do it will be on the passenger side. Hard to get to but it can be done. Don't jump off a cliff and buy a PCM or anything yet. While you have the plug off see if it is wet or grungy, if it is clean it with some electrical tuner cleaner, maybe put a little dialectric grease on it when you plug it back in.
