F350 Doors
Hey Guys,
I just noticed ( dumb on my part) that the truck I bought last year, 1977 F350 Super Cab Camber Special, has doors that are rusted out along the bottom were the door skin meets the door body.
Can I fix this by grinding out all the rust, using something like POR-15 and then fiberglass/bondo, or do I have to replace the doors. I don't think just a door skin would fix the problem.
Thanks for the help. You guys rule.
Jeff

That might work but if it was me I would get the inner door bottom and the lower outer skin and weld those in.

You might want to look inside the door to find the extent of the damage. I had a door that looked great on the outside, no rust showing. I took a flash light and looked at the inside and found more rust than you can imagine. I replaced the door with a near perfect one for $45.
If you can see it from the outside, the inside has to have some rust too.
