I had to update mine right out of the box. It was painless. I run Level III, with shift firmness set for 6,6,3 and a top speed of 110 instead of the factory 99. You should see the looks on the Dodge 1500 owners when going to Wyoming when they max out at 99, and I go right past them. In case anyone is wondering, Dodge is either limited to 99, or they don't go any faster with the wind slamming into it.
regardless what I set the EDGE to TRUCK wont go over 102mph

?? No idea. I'd call Edge and ask them. Mine works. Once it told me that it couldn't adjust the top speed because of something to do with a hex key, but it let me adjust it later.

I have an edge evo and love it. I haven't updated it yet but could tell a huge difference even on L1. I usually run L2 w/89 oct. and get almost 18mpg w/ 33's. I am impressed with it. I haven't ran on L3 yet, I think I will give it a go soon but I think I will take an extra change of underwear because I very well may wet myself.
