Clunk in the floorboard=bad bushings
Thanks to this great site, I knew that my sway bar bushings were bad, due to the clunking in the floorborads. I used Stroppebaja's bushing replacement write-up, great job on that. Energy Suspension set, I think it was about $45 to the door. I had to take the drop links out on base to the auto hobby shop and use the shop press. The original sleeves in the bushings were bulbs, not straight sleeves like the replacement, no wonder I couldn't get them out with the ball joint press from Autozone. It wouldn't budge them, so if you do this, have access to a 15k press, still a bugger to get all four out. Reassembly was a breeze and best of all.........NO CLUNK!
Sorry no pics, but Stroppebaja's write-up is perfict.

Use the roto zip method, no press necessary. Run a drill bit around the outside of the collar in the bushing and you can knock out the center and then remove the rest of the bushing. Took me less then 15 minues to do all four. Got this idea from Ron aka Ron's Power Stroke. Works great.

I read that someone else used a sawz-all and made one cut through then just banged it out with a screwdriver and a hammer.
I would THINK that with the drill method, you would still have the outer sleeve frozen in there????
Yeah yeah, I have the same kit and haven't done the fix yet.... LOL!
But I hate working in cold weather!

I prefer the torch method lol. I heated the thing up untill the rubber was smoking inside the unit, then smacked it with a hammer. On every one of them. The downfalls to this method is one, the hot part, lands on the ground, and your NOT to pick them up for a little bit lol. Some of the paint also burns off from the heat, but for me, I could care less about the appearance of the sway bar links. So if you dont have the press method, the heat method works. Now I dont know if a propane, or mapp gass torch would get hot enough. I used an oxy-acetylene setup.
