Went from no muffler to glasspack with disapointing results
My setup used to be: Inline 6, stock cat, 2.5 inch pipe exiting before the rigth rear tire.
Current setup: Inline 6, stock cat, cherry bomb.
Results: Exhaust sound is alot quieter. The tone did not change on bit.
Expected: I figured that the glasspack would make the tone a little lower. And maybe make it sound like more like a truck than a farm tractor.
Oh well...

I think if your mileage starts dropping suddenly and when you downshift and don't gain any speed and almost seems like you're slowing down is a good sign! For example, up until a year ago I was able to make it make this one large hill on the interstate on the way to work in 5th at 70 mph and was getting about 215 miles per tank. In the past 1/2 year, I was lucky to get up the same hill in 4th at 65 mph tops and getting only 190 miles per tank. 2 weeks ago I replaced the old cat with a new high flow cat and performance is just like a new truck, except with a lot throatier and rumbly sound. When the old, stock cat was held up to a bright light you couldn't see the light. By the way, that's a pretty good, informative website you got!
