What turbo is this?

I was looking at turbos on Ebay... this guy says he's not sure whether or not it's stock. It says 110 A/R on the housing, but the blades are different than the stock turbos I've seen. Certainly different than mine.

You can see the turbo here.

OK, but every other compressor wheel I've seen looks like the one here.

The only thing I see nonstock about the 1st one is the gutted EBPV and the shaft that's been plugged with a pipe plug.

The 2nd one looks like it's been rebuilt with an aftermarket compressor wheel.

The 1st one with 5 long blades and 5 shorter blades is stock 94.5-97 wheel. The second pic with 9 full blades is stock 99-03 wheel. Now a replacement stock 94-97 wheel is the wicked wheel for $80 and the 99+ one you can get for $20.

I put the 9 full blade one in mine and also read it flows more air, plus it was cheaper

The first one is a stock with an exhaust housing like the one we put on your truck. The second one is a turbo that someone robbed the impeller wheel off of for their superduty.

If you are looking at these to replace the one I gave you, stop already. There is no need to go ordering something I don't need. Trust me, now that the PMS bug has a firm hold on you, sooner or later one will just fall in your lap. It may not be tomorrow, or a year from now. But it will. And I am in no hurry. Hell, if you stop bringin' it up, I'll prolly forget about it. Just make it an early Christmas gift. How about that. Seriously though, don't worry about it. I've got pleanty turbos, you know this. Hell, my buddy Carl said my shop should be named Death Row Diesel and Turbo emporium! LOL
