Im trying to help my buddy fix the radio on his 1996 F150xl. Right now, the radio doesnt turn on and nothing lights up. I checked the fuse and its good, so I want to pull the radio and look at the wires. It is the base model radio, how do I remove it? Also, what wires should I test? TIA

 

get removal tool at auto parts store or walmart.

you need 2 U's bent out of coathanger if you are cheap.

just replace the radio with a cd player.
