Hi guys, I am ready to put the cab back on the frame and am looking for any hints such as which mounts should be hooked up first and does the arm which is part of the rear attachment go on the frame first or is is better to attach it to the cab and then manuver the cab into position? I have a hoist so I can suspend it while moving it into position. Any help is welcome and appreciated, thanks

If you can find some a couple of friends, they come in handy for that little " minute-nudge" will will encounter...either moving the cab slightly up,left ,right or as the situation may demand..sideways. Just having a little more stability and control adds confidence. Be sure and get the cab as square to the frame as you can. I would start with the rear mounts personally,as they will probably require the most " fumbling" to install and the front mounts should be a simple " stack-the-parts" and drop the bolts thru deal. Is the cab in finish paint? All the more reason to have some help...
I would use a silicone lube/grease on the hardware, this will help the parts go together AND help with squeaks and groans later..metal to metal contact should be avoided if possable.
With the cab suspended above the frame..lower it slowly and if needed support it with wooden blocks (wrapped in rags) between the cab and frame once it is in the "zone".
A couple of good friends, a few cold frosties and a good plan will help make this a fun afternoon...Have fun!...go slow, enjoy the time! Good Luck!

 

Just for reference I did mount the cab onto the frame today with the help of my brother. It turns out, at least for me, the best way was to secure the front mounts first , just loosely and the the rear ones last and while intalling the rear ones I attached the end to the cab first and then fasten the bottom end. Now with the seat in I can at least sit in it and pretend.
