PS Diesel Kleen

I went to Wally World yesterday to buy some more grey jug diesel kleen. Not only had the price jumped up over 10% in the last 45 days, but the big jug went from 96 ounces to only 80 ounces. (300 gallons treated to 250 gals treated).

I'm so glad that inflation is under control!

Nice.

I switched to using Howe's about 6-9 months ago and have been pleased thus far. I usually can pick it up easily and at a good price at the truckstops.

We have a local guy here that makes a product called clean power. He makes it for gas motors and another one for diesels. It is an amazing product. I pored a bottle into my 1960 Lincoln continental before we fired it. Fired right off. After sitting for 10years with 10 year old gas in it. Runs like a champ!

Good way to chase away business, raise the price and give you less at the same time.

The ones I saw were only 80 oz - white and grey same size.

Inflation: Will be the norm for the near future. Two years ago I was camping up in the Sierra's and at Bridgeport, CA gas was $3.75 a gallon (i had a '91 Ford 460 dually). I refused to buy it there (it have 80 gallon tanks) and came back to buy it in Bishop at $3.11 per gallon. Boy, was I glad to get back to L.A. and get it for $2.92 a gallon again. Now we all feel we are stealin' it at under $4.00 a gallon! How soon we forget.

Good point gary... I also find it funny how fast we are to get angry about it. And a matter of months later we are happy to see the prices we were angry about

We all have short memories, even the Arabs Nolan. In most of 2006 and 2007 oil was between $60 and $70 a barrel and from 2002 - 2005 it was $30 to $50 a barrel. Now the Arabs want to cut supply because it might fall below $100 as if they should be entitled to get at least that. As I said, about the only thing you can count on in the future is inflation.

yep. 2% last year and it will probably be ~ 3% for this year.

i cannot believe they expect people to buy that considering the prices of most things has doubled.
