I drive 45 mins to work and back and i typically drive 75 to 80 MPH and I dont really use my overdrive because when i do use it i end up pushing the pedal a little further to keep my speed up. So now my question is would 4.56's be screaming at 75 to 80 MPH ? 2300 RPM's would be ok for me but any more then that would be more then I want at 75 to 80 MPH with overdrive on

save the 1500 bucks and buy a beater work car. i think that would be better.
but seriously, i think 4.56's would put you about 2200-2300 at 70mph
if you never plan to tow anything really heavy or upgrade to bigger tires, like 38's then 4.10's will work for you.
4.10's put you near the stock rpm's

I looked it up in a gear ratio calculator and at 75mph you turn a little over 1800rpms now.. and with the 4.56s you would be turning a little over 2300rpms.
Which i would be fine with 2300 rpms.. if you had a stock f-150 with the 3.73 ratio with the 255/70r16 that some came on some of them you would also be turning 2300rpms.

Sorry to ask another question, but i was also considering getting the 4.56s. I currently have 35s and the stock 3.73 gears out back. My buddy told me that id get better fuel mileage going to the 4.56s. is this true? because wont the rpms be higher and so youd be using more gas or am i mistaken somehow?
