Chrome Package Care

I used Meguiars Hot Rims Chrome Wheel Cleaner on the wheels tonight and it was absolutely amazing at getting rid of hardened brake dust that was sitting on the wheels for a few months. The wheels look just like they did the night that I drove it off of the dealer's lot. I would like to know what others are using to clean, polish, and protect the bumpers, step bars, and exhaust tip. I would imagine that the same products would be safe for the wheels too, but if not, please let me know. Thanks!

I don't know what the name of it is...but it's in a white bottle with a red top.
Its a chrome polish/rust remover.

It works amazing. I brought home an old rusty bull bar from the junkyard, slapped some of the stuff on, and buffed out every bit of rust on it.
It looked brand new, and shiny as hell.

Same here, Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and Rust Remover (white bottle red cap). Can find it at walmart, works great!

Keep in mind any "chrome plastic" parts like door handle covers etc should be treated with care. In general it's not a good idea to use anything with an abrasive in it on chrome.

On the chrome plastic and even the wheels on the XTR package I use believe it or not glass cleaner. Windex or SuperKleen (Foam type) works very well.
