Did Ford offer a heater demister in there custom cabs, I am just wondering are these vents on my dash specific for a heater demister. Cheers Paul

Paul, ..Demister??..If you are refering to the vents in the dash " at the winshield", we call them "defroster vents". Warm air from the heater-box is directed to the lower windshield...warm-air rises and clears the glass of ice in our cooler climates.
There should be a left and right duct, mounted to studs under the openings, with flex-tubes going to the heater-box...
Your project is looking Great!

Forgot to mention...there is also a trim-strip to cover the openings on top ofthe dash, some people chrome them, or paint to the body color, or flat-black.....trim is mounted with 4-5 screws......hope that helps!!

Hi Paul.
I noticed you had everything together all backwards like so I stayed up all night fixing it for you. You will still have to move the gear shift lever though.

Mine looks the same as in your pic , but i have a trim piece that goes from one side to the other that diverts the air onto the windshield. Its about a half inch wide with a taper and curved to match the windshield.
