Adding a seven way trailer plug

I have an 05 screw without the tow package I would like to add a seven pin trailer plug and a brake controller. Has anyone done this before? I looked above the spare tire and there is a box mounted on the frame that has a plug and a cover. The cover will not come off without breaking it. I also know that I will need a relay and the harness from Ford. Does the harness from Ford have a standard 7 pin round plug? I really do not want to put a Universal 7 way and then have to spice into all the wires back there. Thanks in advance for the help.

I had the dealership add mine. Previous owner added Class III Uhaul hitch. As a condition of the sale, I had a remote starter and 7pin conversion done complete with power point (as I tow a HTT). Dealership put on the ford 7 pin with the flat plug to the right, so its possible w/o too much fuss I would imagine.
Of course the small town dealer I worked with also threw in prodigy brake controller pig tail, keyless doorpad, and after a little barking the second key and keyless remote.. sleazy salesman tried to pass off a non-chip key as the second key.

Does your plug have a standard 7 pin plug on the back or a special ford plug?

Thanks for the help. I can't believe that your the only person here with any info on this. My parts have been shipped I will be trying to install this weekend. FTE Parts guy has helped me out a ton trying to get me the right parts. Anyone that needs parts from Ford go to Ed. If I showed you how many PM and emails I had with him you would be amazed he went through to get me $80 worth of parts.

Here is a pic of the harness and Ed. I have a feeling this will be the most we will ever see of Ed.

Thats it....the lower pin connector should be at the back of the frame like you said, while the smaller round plug (upper left in the pic) should be at the back of the frame tight to the under side of the bed(a little father back then the big one

Did you get the relay for the fuse box to?
