anyone have Homeade BioD plans?

I'mvery interested in making my own Bio-Diesel and want to get setup with my own homeade system. anyone made their own? I guess I'm trying to find out what the cost per gallon is (assuming that the WVO is free) and what ingredients are needed for additives. I've heard KOH and methanol but am not sure what are the best sources for these. Thanks for the help.

Plans and instructions for BD processor here:

Welcome - Collaborative Biodiesel Tutorial Website

Cost for production approx $1/gal, if you recover the residual methanol.

The price of methanol will vary everywhere. I get it in Arkansas for around 150-175 dollars a barrel while in Alabama its closer to 250.

I built my processor out of a 55gal drum and various steel and pvc fittings. I haven't gotten to the point of using it yet, but hopefully in the next week or 2 it'll be up and running. I priced out methanol locally and the only way i've found to get it is to buy a 55gal drum at around $255. I got my KOH from camden grey, which is a online soap supply store. It was about the cheapest i could find because they package it so you don't have to pay a hazardous material charge for shipping. I'll continue to look for cheaper places to get supplies.
