I talked to a guy at a local truck shop and he says the new vehicles is coming with a purple fleetrite coolant. He couldnt give me the service life on it. Does any body have any info on this? They have it in the concontrate and the red fleetrite in the 50/50.

 

I think that is the same coolant as Fleet Charge sold at NAPA.

I put it in my truck on the recommendation of Gooch over at the Diesel Stop site. If NAPA can't tell you what you need to know, maybe try to contact Gooch over at the other forum.

Gooch is by far the most knowledgable person I have found on this subject. I don't know if he's on the other forum anymore. Since it changed ownership it has gotten so slow and generally sucks, despite having good people there posting.
