who has added the SD logo to the windshield?

i noticed that some SD windshields have SUPER DUTY written on them above the inside rear view mirror.

has any one that doesnt have it added one w/a decal or when they changed there windshield?

or have you taken it off?

i thought it looked kind of neat when i sat in my friends tuck that had the logo

was thinking of making a sticker and adding it to my truck

any thoughts

thanks

The logo is part of the windshield and not just a decal.

Here is a thread where a member had his non-SD windshield replaced with one that has the SD logo...

I don't care for "Super Duty" being on about every darn surface as it is. It strikes me as pretty base.

like said already its not a decal, its part of the windsheild, its actually painted on. You would have to get a new windshield and request the one with the superduty logo on it.

Through insurance it will cost about $70 more. If I have to replace it again insurance pays the full amount.

Try a graphics sign company like the ones used to put company logos on the side of trailers, store windows etc. Some use computer technology and a large plotter that laser cuts the letters and they just peel off and stick them on. My future son-in-law had his landscaping trailer done this way as well as a nice logo stuck on his rear window.

Seems kinda silly to waste time and money getting a decal now. Just wait until it gets chipped or cracked and get the SD logo one to replace it.
