seems both of them have had the cam sensor problems.
ford fixed the 97 for free, but the 96 is not yet under recall. the ford house told me if the bracket holding the sensor in place is copper itill be recalled next, so hopfully i will get my 200.00 back. thanks again for all the help, i really like the 7.3.

Hey I have a asphalt question for you guys. Do you have to use any type of release agent to to keep asphalt from sticking to your equipment? if so what type is it? I am looking for a use for some byproduct I will have left over from making Biodiesel and I have heard that it can be used as a release agent for asphalt and concrete.

Michigan, The one person I heard say it says the delivery truck for road jobs spray diesel fuel in the live bottom trailer but that the glycerine mixed 50/50 with water as well and was cheap!

when i worked construction we would spray the beds of our dump trucks bringing asphalt in with diesel, before we loaded them. We would also spray or dip all of our shovels, rakes, ect. it works really well.
