Hello, I need to replace the upper and lower ball joints on my '02 F250 4x4. What ball joint press do I need? Will any press work? I know NAPA sells two or three different presses. Also MAC and/or Matco sell a master ball joint service kit. Will one of their smaller, less expensive kits do the job? Thanks!

 

A company called OTC makes those ball joints press's for MAC and I think Snap On. get an OTC brand and you'll saave a chunk.

Cool, thanks. I 've also noticed that there are MAC, Matco, and Snap On presses on Ebay once in a while.

 

i rented mine from autozone, paid a deposit but got it all back when returned in good condition.

 

Best place to get a press is harbor freight $39.00 they have a kit for the adapters $49.00 that can't be beat...
