I think I got something left at home from a 71 I no longer have Kentucky. But to answer your question, I'd go with 72. From memory the wires connected to the starter solenoid are more closely related to a 72. And the 70 cluster printed circuit board is year specific.

For that you can use either the 70 or 72 schematic. 1969 from ser #G30,001 through 1972 all take the same T/S switch. The 71 one I have is not email able. I can try tonight to take pictures of it with my phone and email them but the flash will probably come out too bright.

But carefull guys. Seems like I had caught a couple things wrong with the schematic in the past I posted above. Like the horn connected to the headlamp switch. I have not had time to double check it.
