Do OBS trucks weigh quite a bit less than superduties? I took a load to the dump today, and when they wieghed my truck on the way out it was only 6700 lbs. I weigh about 210, the front tank was full, the rear tank was 1/4 full. I thought it would be closer to 7500. It is an f250 ext cab with a short bed though. Obviously it'll weigh less than a f350 crew cab longbox.
dads 02 crew cab short box weighs only a couple hundred more than my 97 ext. cab long box. both are 4x4 auto 7.3's. mine weighs 7200 with me and my tool box and all the crap i carry in the truck
I don't know if this is true but I converted the weight from metric to american using a program on my comp. I got 9200 lbs curb weight. But that just sounds too heavy. It might be right because I looked up the specs on google.
my 95 extended cab long box 4wd with me and full fuel tanks weighs 6300 (seems low maybe I am remember wrong) but I do know the truck in my sig weighs 7900 with me full fuel tanks and tool box. Lots more with the snow plow on.
that seems about right i'm sitting at about 6800 with both tanks full. and I'm a crew cab dually... I was thinking about you guys weight then it it occured to me that almost all of you have tool boxes and 4 wheel drive.
tires sizes and what rims you got ? I weigh 7400 with in 1/2 both tanks I run alum. rims and big tires I go up to 8100 with my plow and 5 cement blocks. Wow tj that plow must be heavy! hey are we weighing our truck with our fat rear ends in there mine was without me in it
tj must have a ton of crap in his tool box compared to eric's truck! mine weighed in at i beleive 7400 with me in it and 1 full tank and 1 3\4 tank and my tool box
