The weight of our trucks

Do OBS trucks weigh quite a bit less than superduties? I took a load to the dump today, and when they wieghed my truck on the way out it was only 6700 lbs. I weigh about 210, the front tank was full, the rear tank was 1/4 full. I thought it would be closer to 7500. It is an f250 ext cab with a short bed though. Obviously it'll weigh less than a f350 crew cab longbox.

I don't know if this is true but I converted the weight from metric to american using a program on my comp. I got 9200 lbs curb weight. But that just sounds too heavy. It might be right because I looked up the specs on google.

Its amazing the variation even in same body configurations of these trucks. I don't know if its fuel levels, tool boxes etc....

Like Cody's truck should weight more than mine being the same body, 4wd with the dually on top of it. Any body have any thoughts?
