03 F350 6.0 intermittant blue smoking

I recently bought this truck 112,000 miles and it started smoking blue really bad on the trip home. Local dealer said it needed an EGR so I had it replaced. The tech said it would take 1000 miles to burn the oil out of the exhaust, but another dealer's tech said it should burn out quickly. When I start the truck it's fine, but as it warms up I notice the blue smoke. Sometimes it is heavy some times light. Sometimes it doesn't smoke at all and when you come to a stop all of a sudden it will start. Any one have a similar experience or any suggestions.
I have 4 trucks with the 6.0 and I have noticed no loss of power in this recent purchase.

Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the boards. You will like the Super Duty forum and the General Diesel discussion. I recommend posting your problem here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum107/ Try that one and see what others have found.
