Recently on my 2000 Expedition I have notcied it will hesitate at times while accelerating from a stop, but only when the fuel is 1/4 tank or less. It has 106,000 miles and the fuel filter was changed about 30,000 miles ago. Anybody else have this problem?

 

Check out TSB 00-20-1 There is a revised fuel pump to correct this problem.

 

Does it hesitate only from a stop? It may be time for another fuel filter.

 

Yes, only from a stop and only when there the gage is at 1/4 or less. I'll look into the fule pump and filter. Easy enough fixes. Thanks!!

 

Where can you find the TSB-00-20-1? I have been having the same problem with my 98 Expeditition for about a year. I just stopped letting it go below 1/4 tank so it wouldn't happen. Most offen it happens durring a rolling stop or on a sharp turn from a stop. I heard it had something to do with the fuel pump also.
