What all ford engines will the AOD fit behind? And just to be sure the tranny is out of a 88 grand marquis or crown victoria, so is that an AOD tranny? It was behind a 5.0L FI.

Yes, it's an AOD. It will fit the 3.8L, 5.0L, 4.9L, and the 5.8L, but the 5.8L makes enough torque that a stock AOD isn't going to last long behind it.

The 5.8 must be a C or W.

M's will not fit.

I thought that the 351 Cleveland had a different bolt pattern than the Windsor.
