AOD flexplate into a C6

AOD flexplate into a C6
I have a '83 302 that will be going into my '79 F-150 2wd, I currently have a C6 in my '79. The 302 had an AOD tranny behind it, but it currently has a 3 speed manual bolted to it. I still have the AOD flexplate, I would like to use the original AOD flexplate on the 302 with the C6. Will this work? or will I have to go to hte junkyard and get a 302 C6 flexplate?

AOD flexplate into a C6
If the AOD flexplate was original on the 302, then it should work. The main thing is to match the external balance with the engine and if it was originally on your 302, then everything should be fine.
