brake bleeding sequence 0n '00 f250

i need to install new calipers on my truck. a friend told me that there may be a sequence to this cause of the anti lock brakes.is this right?and does anyone know the right sequence.i originally thought that you start from the furthest from the master and end up at the LF.thanks

Yep, you're correct. Gravity bleed the longest line, RR then the LR, RF and then the LF.

If you pick up a set of speedbleeders, it makes the process a lot easier to do by yourself, too.

when I do it I open all the bleeders I've worked on and keep an eye on resevoir
when a bleeder starts to drip I close it and wait for the next

Gravity bleed an ABS system??? No way!!! You'll never get all the air out.
Pump it through as usual.

I'll second this. I've got speedbleeders on all of my vehicles, and it makes bleeding so much easier. Just put a tube on the end, open the bleeder, pump the brakes a few times, fill up the res, pump again, etc...until new fluid runs out, then close the valve and move to the next caliper. The check valve in the speedbleeders keeps any air or old fluid from going back into the system.
