Help!!! TRG

TRG!

With all the treads about down falls and troubles its time for a change of pace!

TRG=Truck Runs Great!
Its a 97 PSD and runs drives, shifts, sounds, makes more power, and gets better MPG then when it was new. Iam the original owner, and ford could only wish it ran as good. Its great not to have the EPA on your back.

How much better is yours from the day you got it until today????!!!!

Happy PSD Party

LLIB A tread with no Drammmmaaaa!!!!

Lets add this question. What is on your short list (definately doing them in the near future, not your wish list) of mods to do? Mine short list is stage 1's and a different chip and get my stacks back on.

My wifes's truck,
When we got her, it only had minor electrical issues, and I got it for a steal because we were in Gasser land at the time. Replaced stereo, all issues fixed. Beautiful Truck, she wants to add a grille gaurd and seat covers to protect the original interior.

My Truck:
Project truck, underwater thing that my buddy sold me. Still tracking down electrical issues, but the engine runs, and the 4x4 engages at all levels. Just trying to track down a glow plug short. Led down the trail of "if one goes out it could short the system with feedback." Cannot work on it again till I get back from SERE... oh well. It's a good truck all around so far, and my favorite part is the learning experience of electric theory. I love it.

Yeah I should have added that to my list as well. Been talking about it now for 4 years! I have over 100 gallons of WVO collected and a few liter batched made. Just need to build the BD processor. maybe thats what the tax return will do.

Got a great deal on it too $6051.00

PO thought the trans was on its way out wire to VSS broken (Intermittant)

Came with a back blade & a unimount plow ..decent body ,for a michigan truck ,,,& cant take much credit for how much better is is than new ..It was already modded when I got it (Injector 's 6 pos chip straight exaust ) & the ever famous EBPV delete Coat hanger wired open mod

Thanks to Bill ,,trans is as smooth as you could want

Best vehicle I have ever owned & I have more than 20 different vehicles ,, this is the one I drive every day

Just turned 150k and TRG! I am going to shim the FPR, clean the screen and change the filter. Then t-shoot the WIF light (never see it). I have a 203* t-stat, housing, and HPX waiting in boxes and I need to make time for the exhaust guy to do the delete pipe on back...then I will drive it for a while and consider the next move. Thanks to this site and youz guys the next move will be sooner than later.

Short list is (expensive!) a new torque converter and, if needed, tranny rebuild/upgrade.

TRG thanks to you guys and this site. The kids will have to skip a dinner some day so I can budget in a "Supporter" tag next to my name.
