"Bull nose", "Brick nose" and "OBS" are the nick names people use to differentiate between the three slight differences in the '80 - '96/7 years.

It's easy to remember which is which.

The '80 - '86 trucks have hard, sharp corners, like a brick. So that's the bull nose.

The '87 - '91 trucks are still pretty blocky, but with more smoothed corners , so they look more like a blocky animal, like a bull. So that's the brick nose.

And the '92 - '96/7 are the newest body style of the group, so that's the OBS (which stands for Old Body Style).

See, simple!

i've heard of brick nose and obs for the models listed above, but i've never heard anyone refer to the 80-86's as bull nose. now i know!

I've never heard any of them (although I have heard the full words "old body style") I've only read them on this site. It's jargon.

oh ok i thought you were talking about the headlights i was asking about... but i really want to know what kind of headlights those are on the centurion!!!!! it seems like it might just be an aftermarket halo inside the housing.

IIRC I'm pretty sure that he actually built them himself.

Nice! Now I want to build a garage for mine
I see you have the Jasper E4OD Tranny. Word from a local shop installer for Jasper products is that they have a modified and much improved Torque Converter that put in their re-manufactured units that solved major ills with that tranny.

Mine was installed over a year ago now, and they said that they installed their most updated version at the time.

And it only has about 12,000 miles on it so far.
