Accident

Sadly my truck was the victim of a hit and run sometime last night. Happened right in front of my house. The damage is pretty good. The tailgate, bumper, tail light, and left rear vendor will all need to be repaired. I just got back from the drive in claim place. They said it will take about a week before I get a check to fix it. I'll get some pics up of the damage when I get home from work this evening.

Id like to replace the weak oem bumper with something that much stronger. I was looking a the ranch hands on their website. I like the cowboy 10 inch drop with the lights and receiver built into it. Anyone have any other suggestion for bumpers?

Check out this forum.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...s-bumpers.html

I started it and received some additional info with links.

Unfortunately, Fab Fours doesn't make bumpers for our trucks.

When my truck got rear ended I put a 12" drop Bundy on it. Got it off ebay for less than $100.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. The truck goes to the body shop Monday to be repaired. While its in there getting the damage fixed im also going to have the rsut around my front wheel wells repaired.
I decided to go the the 10" drop ranch hand with the lights built in. I like the look of the raw beefy bumper. I found a vendor out of Texas that had some reasonable prices.
TJ, I took your advice and walked around the neighborhood. Didnt find one car with any damage. I live in a well populated area, could have been anyone.
