Door handle stuck

Door handle stuck
On my 94 f150 my driver side door handle is stuck? What do I need to look for when I take the door panel off to try and correct the issue. I really hate the idea of haivng to roll down the window to open the door from the out side to get out. The inside door handle seems to be in some kind of bind that wont allow me to move it.

Not sure if it's the same situation as my '90, but mine got tough over a couple of weeks. I milked it along until my wife drove the truck one day and broke the lever (like a bull in a china shop). I'm still running down the window and opening from the outside, but imagine that things are just corroded. That door shows some rust around the bottom and the window moves pretty slow too. Plan on taking it apart and replacing the handle and shooting some wd40 here and there. Hope it fixes it. After a few times of the roll the window down trick, you'll get it so quick and smooth that noone will even realize you did it..........
Good Luck.

I too broke a handle off the inside of my 92 F250. This is what I found to be the problem- the inside door handle is connected to the latch with a steel cable, similar to a bicycle brake cable. Over time as things start to wear, the cable stretches some and you have to pull just a tad harder to get the door to open. This continues until one day you pull too hard and SNAP! there goes your inside handle. I bought a new inside handle, lubed the chit outta the cable, and I think I bent, moved, or did something to tighten the cable up just a bit and it worked fine after that. Doesn't help much with the OP's stuck handle though... as far as what to look for, I'd see if there is something jammed in the interior guts of the inside handle somewhere.

Well I got the door fixed for now. All I had to do was open and close the door several times to free up the handle. So now the door opends up pretty easy. Will it come back no idea but I figured I would give it a try before I went to remove the door panel. Thanks for everyone who repleid.
Oh btw I did notice my power window now goes up and down much faster now!

Gees guys, hate ya'll have the problem. I also have the same trouble. Just found it few days ago. Replace the inside handle by removing the two screws and replacing the broken one. Today took off the door panel and found all seemed to be fine. Now that I see ya'lls posts, I believe I can more understand why it will only open from the outside. Thanks ya'll. Did not even ask.
