Block Casting to ID engine help?!

Can anyone tell me if they know what year a 460 with a block casting # of D1VE-6015-A2 came from? Or how to find out? Thanks

that casting was used from 71 thru 78

got the head casting numbers? on the outside of the heads above the exhaust ports.

first 2 chars are decade (c=60, d=70, e=80), second is year in decade, 0 thru 9. c8=68, c9=69, D0=70, etc
