turbo 460 with propane

Never knew these were made, it would be a pain to make all the plumbing work for exhaust and intake, but all the parts seem to be there. Seems like you could get away with a higher CR, even with the turbo, due to the propane and get the benifits of running propane over a carb.

Any thoughts?

Kind of cobbled together, eh? I bet my left .... that there's not a speck of carbon in that thing, though.

By the physical "size" of the turbocharger, it seems to me that it would become a major restriction if you wanted to try to exceed 1800 RPM under load.

Depending on what parts this engine may be made out of, it might be worth it. However, propane with a turbo is going to take a LOT of fuel to make decent power with vs. gasoline.
