Biting the Bullet-- RIZE lift, winch bumper and new EVERYTHING!

After being very conservative with my truck (2004 FX4 SCAB), I've decided to finally make it the truck I want.. I figure this will save me atleast 45,000 over buying an 08 SDUTY. List of mods already in the works:

RIZE 8inch lift with Bilstein shocks
Alien Patrol Winch bumper (with 2 Piaa Ion yellow fog lights)
Warn M12000 winch (or other)
Xtreme Racks Lightning series Sports bar with (4) Piaa Xtreme White off road driving lights

Moto Metal Rims (debating what size)

37x12.50/13.50/ ?? (debating on rim size and tire brand)

4.10 Gears
Katzkin Custom Black Leather with Red Suedeskin inserts

What do you guys think about the wheels? Should I go for a smaller rim like an 18" or go to a 20"? I really like the look of having big rubber on a smaller rim. But the 20" just looks so trick..

By the way, this truck is NOT going to be a pavement queen, as it hasn't been since I've owned it. I'm an avid outdoorsman and dirt biker.

Any suggestions on the winch? I don't want to go with a 9,000lb, even though i know it would probably be enough for my truck. The new warn powerplant looks awesome with the onboard air compressor. I need ideas!

I have a warn M12000. I use it on my work truck and use it at least once a week. Some weeks I use it nearly everyday. Not only to unstick my truck but I'll also pull some pretty heavy duty equipment up on a gooseneck. Never been disappointed in it. If it ever goes out I'll get a 16,500 but that's probably overkill for 99% of the people who buy a winch.

running 37's im wondering if you might even want to go to 4.56 or even 4.88 for the gear selection?

with a 37" OD tire, a 4.157 gear is required to put the truck back at 3.55 effective ratio... since stock is 3.55. So yes, I think a 4.10 will be fine. True, the tires will add a bit of weight, but i'm hoping on not losing very much acceleration.

I still need some advice on rims.. 18s or 20s?? .. Here's a pic of the one's I'm getting

18's or 20's is up to your taste... an 18 will ride better than a 20 though, since there is more rubber. i like 18's myself, thats what im running also.

Well, yes and no.. Since there is more rubber with an 18 inch rim, there is more sidewall flex. Which means there will be more of that "lifted truck" handling... ya know- it kinda 'floats' through turns..

Remember these are going to be 37inch tires.. looootttss of side wall flex. If it was to be 35's or 33's then definitely 18's.

I really think the 20s will be better suited for the driving I do, and will still have plenty of rubber to perform well off-road.

If I were you id go with a different wheel somehting you dont see quite as often. I see trucks with those all the time thats why I didnt get them for my truck. I no of a wheel that looks freakin awsome and its black and chrome. the only reason I didnt get it is because they dont make them in a 17" and I couldnt afford new tires.
gimmi a bit and I will find them.

I would look at getting 18s. Have you checked on how exspensive the 20" tires are? Just my 2 cents
