Uhhh, what am I missing?

I just got these new MSD super conductor wires and this piece.. doesn't seem to fit anywhere? It's on the wire that's supposed to connect the coil to the cap.

Heh, Ford Racing had the same thing for the wires on my Mustang.

At first I was pretty damn worried. Since I had to special order this stuff and it isn't easy to exchange.. lol.

a lot of sets come with extras.

glad you fiqured it out.

yea the engine comes with extras too... every time i take it apart some how i have extra bolts and parts... i dont know where they keep coming from????

Those are spare, complimentary parts.

Mine came with a short coil wire and a long coil wire. I had to use the long one and tuck the extra under the upper intake as my coil is mounted right by the dizzy and the wires were originally designed for the Fox cars which the coil is on the fender.

That wire is for use with an older style coil or a msd coil.
