roller conversion

I have been looking for a 351w roller motor perferably, but is starting to be impossible for a reasonable price, so I've been thinking of buying a hydruallic flat tappet 351w and converting it to roller. I know you have to convert with screw in stude for roller rockers but is there anything that needs to be done to the block for the cam itself or can i just put a roller cam into the block as it is?

all you need to do is get the rollor cam you want and some H-link rollor lifters. You will also need the right length pushrods, stock heads are fine no need for adjustable rockers unless you are going with solids.....

Total cost to go roller in a flat tappet block is about $600 more than what a flat tappet cam will run you. It ain't real cost effective.
