Well I was bored and removed the muffler this weekend, WOW that 6.0 sounds great now!! I left the CAT in place and put in a 3.5" pipe in place of the muffler.

Heres the question, if I have any engine issues will Ford give me hard time about the muffler being gone?? Anyone experience anything negative with any dealers regarding this mod???

I can't tell any noticable performance difference except for the growl that starts at 2250 RPM's!! OOHHH it sounds so nice!

 

As long as the cat is in place it is my understanding that ford does not mind the muffler being gone.

 

I know you still have the warranty, but I don't so I will say this. You think it sounds awsome now? Wait till you take that cat off!!!! Awsome indeed
