How many miles will 5.4 go?

My 06 at 128K
So far so good, had rough idle and stall problem, replaced VCT solenoid valves and fixed, had drivers side IWE hub fail, easy fix, replace your drive train fluids (Differentials, Tranny, and Transfer Case every 30K), watch for rust on steering fluid lines at pump connection.

06 E350, 241K had the tranny replaced at 207K. Spark plugs twice with new coils at 207K as they are cheap on EBay. Change oil 5-6,000 miles and uses a quart every 6,000 (always has). Started with Mobile 1 but now using NAPA full synthetic as it goes on sale for 3.50 a quart and using Motorcraft oil filters. Still put about 30,000 a year on it for work. Last tune-up (207K) replaced water pump, belt and intake gasket. Never have had a blown plug so pretty happy with it. See no reason it won't be with me for many years to come. Just wish the rust wasn't starting to come through.

A long long way
My Brothers 97 F150 went 330,000 miles and while changing a plug he dropped a socket into the cylinder. Retired the motor after his son tried to crank it.
I asked a guy yesterday about the reliability of his 5.4 in a 2012-2014Lincoln Navigator because I'm looking at one to purchase. He grinned and told me it had 430,000 miles on it if I cared to take a look at his odometer. That verifies my experiences with the motor. I currently have an expedition with a 5.4 with 170,000 on it. I've had to change a plug and coil pack, that's all.

No Heat???
I have a 2003 F-150 with a 5.4 engine. It does not have heat. I put in a new thermostat, flushed the system through the heater core! Water running freely from start to finish after flushing heater core. I cut a door inside the glove compartment revealing the blend air door. I wedged the blend air door open and let it run. Even after the engine warmed up to a point I should have had heat still there was nothing. There are no leaks. I am totally stumped at this point. Any suggestion or known remedies? I just want to understand what is not working. HELP PLEASE!
Just for fun....I also have a 2010 has 312325 miles and this girl (My F-150) is still a good looking fine running and riding machine.

I service four trucks at the shop with the 5.4 Triton in them. They are only half tons but the guy pulls cattle and gooseneck trailers with all four of them. They all have around 200,000 to 250,000 miles on them and the only thing they needed were spark plugs and oil changes.
Sorry I’m 19 years late to this conversation...
I have a ‘97 expedition with 239k miles on it. Needs spark plugs or coil packs roughly every 4 thousand miles and I change the oil every 3k. Still runs great
