I guess it started last year. He removed the bed and put a new one on because the rear fenders were rusty. While he had the bed off, he replaced the fuel tanks, tank straps, brake lines, fuel lines, leaf spring shackles, and the list just goes on. Upfront he has done balljoints etc... Now I just have to sell my V10

I bought my 95 w/ 98k on it for $9k. I got it from the orig owner and he just had the front end rebuilt and tranny rebuilt last year(less than 5k ago). It runs like a champ and tows like one too. He gave me a folder that was 5 inches thick of everything ever done to it. This might have been my best deal ever. I love the PSD and the extra cab. I just wish it had a 3rd door, but I can't complain. I don't sit in the back, the kids do...haha

Get the VIN and have a Ford service center check it for dealer performed maintenance.
Just last summer I bought a '97 F250HD with 189,000 on it through ebay. I had a friend (a service manager at a Ford dealer) run the VIN for maintenance records. My truck had been fully maintained by dealers. My friend was able to verify all the claims made by the seller, such a recent water pump, brake booster/master cylinder, and so on. Any decent Ford service center will run the VIN for you, takes maybe 10 minutes. My truck runs great, and it just topped 200k pulling a 18' powerboat over the mountains to Lake George and back from Philly, averaging just over 20mpg (4x2, 5spd manual).
