Easy way to remove 96 F250 7.3 Turbo Engine
I would pull tranny first. Too many people like to skip this step but it really becomes pain when reinstalling (and moving truck around). Also remove A/C condensor or at least put some heavy cardboard between it and the engine. The rest is like pulling any big block engine.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Jul-02 AT 08:56 AM (EST)]Pull the radiator and fan and the turbo. Disconnect the p.s.lines and A\C
lines. IF ITS A STICK YOU WILL HAVE TO PULL THE TRANS. I just had mine out in the spring to fix oil leaks and replace the clutch. Cherry picker handled it no problem. FYI the motor weighs 1010 pounds.
