If you notice an increase in engine temps, I'd mount the screen as close to the back of the grill and install a 3" or 4" tall air dam under your radiator (1/8" thick rubber, like floor matting). It'll help get air between the screen and radiator due to the vacuum it causes behind the radiator. I'd make it as wide as possible. This is another thing we do with the dirt cars.
