I feel stupid...

Okay, check it out- I've replaced the oil pump,
put on a starter, replaced u-joints, done body work,
replaced brake calipers/rotors/pads/shoes/drums,
replaced an axle seal, replaced front hubs, pulled
off/basicallyrebuilt my carb, and helped a friend
drop an EFI 302 in his '86...

How do I adjust the idle on my '83 with the
stock Variable Venturi 2bbl carb on my 351?

Follow your linkage - this could be a cable from the gas peddle to the carb - then, with the engin off, turn, pull whatever, your linkage and look for a "stop" screw - it will be a screw that hits the liknage, or stops the linkage when the linkage is released - this would be your target - adjust the screw it will move the linkage stop point

Sorry I have efi so I do not know exactly where your idel stop screw is - but you will find it ...
