bronco question
Does any one know if the front end from a 1986 bronco will bolt up to the front end of a 1987. Here is the story my neighbor bought a perfect 1986 Bronco and he is going to use the front end of it to replace wrecked parts on his son's 1987 model. I don't think that they bolt up but I am no for sure.
Then if they do bolt up, what is a 1986 bronco with a inline 6 and no front, and no top, and no drivers door worth.
When I say front end I mean hood, bumper, grille, fenders, and drive door.

The front clip from the '86 should bolt onto the '87 truck, as I know the reverse is true. You will need the radiator support, grille, headlights, hood, cowl, bumper, and fenders from the '86. The doors are the same. The only problems you may have with this are (1) you may need to change the wiring connectors for the headlights, as the '87 uses bulbs while the '86 uses sealed beams, and (2) the quarter panel wheel openings will not match the body lines of the front fenders. Only a cosmetic issue, but it's worth mentioning as it will be noticeable. Finally, I don't know the shape or condition of the scavenged '86, but $800 to $1000? Just a guess.....
